Its something not every rapper you know has...Lyrical ability...Rewindable Lines...Metaphors that affect the stratosphere...in able to be called a G.O.A.T you have to have this...and the great ones all do...from B.I.G to Pac to Nas to Hov to Rakim and Eminem...whether he/she is undeground or not the reason you listen to them is because they apply to your life and they make you bug with every line..."your reign on the top was short like leprechauns".... or wat about "I'm from the place where the church is the flakiest And niggas is praying to god so long that they Atheist"...lines that you hear a new artist bite now and as much as they wont admit it and they try to be different they cant steer away from the people that influenced them...not that thats a bad thing it just bothers me when people dont get the credit they deserve...As far as the new niggas in the game...i give them a lot of credit...they have talent...Mickey Factz , Kid Cudi, Charles Hamilton (love him or hate him)...Drake...Asher Roth....Blu...Curren$y..B.O.B etc. they are all talented...09 as far as hip hop goes has been a better year than its predecessor...Slaughterhouse...Class of 09...the return of Eminem (that Forever verse was insane)...Kanye reemerging...The Estatic (very dope album) and So Far Gone have put a new fuse into Hip-Hop and im happy to say ive been here to see it..as much shit that is going on in the world its good to know that at least there is one thing that can get our minds off of it and put a little joy in our lives...hopefully one day my children will be reciting verses from this year and years to come just like i was when i heard The Blueprint or The Marshall Mathers Lp ~1~
